MARLBOROUGH – The Marlborough Lions Club is postponing the Father-Daughter Dance scheduled for Friday, Sept. 24. This is “due to the Delta variant and its impact on children,” a press release noted.
Organizers are rescheduling the event for the fall of next year.
Tickets purchased for this event will be honored at the next dance.
“The Lions Club hopes to host the dance once children can be safer in crowds and when they can dance, eat and have fun!” that press release said. “The Lions Club wants to ensure lasting, positive memories. We thank the community for your support and please stay tuned for a new Fall 2022 date for this Father-Daughter Dance!”
