Jean M. RinkerGrafton/Shrewsbury – Jean M. (Bergenholtz) Rinker, 72, passed away peacefully with her adoring family close on Sept. 8, 2021.

She leaves her husband, Maynard Rinker; her daughter, Judi Jennings; son, Mike Jennings; and stepson, Mark Rinker and his wife Charity, in addition to her brothers, James and Thomas Bergenholtz; grandson, Stephen Rinker; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her stepchildren, Deb Fimbel and Donald Rinker.

Jean was born on Feb. 2, 1949, in Worcester, daughter of the late Edith (Johnson) and Earl Bergenholtz. Her roots were in North Grafton, where she lived for many years before moving to Shrewsbury.

Jean worked for the state of Massachusetts and went on to a career as a Realtor for Caldwell Bank throughout Central Massachusetts.

She prized time with family and also traveling with her husband Maynard, especially to Hawaii. Closer to home she was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church in Westborough.

All are welcome to gather with Jean’s family and friends on Saturday, Sept. 18, from 9-11 a.m., at The First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough, followed by her memorial service at 11 a.m. in the church. She will then be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton.
