State police ID man killed in fatal crash in Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY – A Stow man was killed in a fatal accident at about 8:23 p.m. in Shrewsbury on Sept. 11. 

According to a press release from the Massachusetts State Police, Andrew St. Denis, 26, lost control of his vehicle while driving on a Route 290 off-ramp and crashed into a tree.

St. Denis was determined to be dead at the scene, state police said. 

The police said the cause of the crash is still under investigation, adding that troopers are being assisted by State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services Section staff. 

The ramp, which was exit 26B, was closed for about three hours on Sept. 11.
