WESTBOROUGH – The brand new Westborough Police Foundation Golf Classic will raise money to help the foundation in its effort to support the Westborough Police.
The scramble style, 18-hole tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Hopkinton Country Club.
There is room for 144 golfers in the event, which also features lunch, a dinner reception, silent auction, raffle and prizes.
The Westborough Police Foundation was founded in 2019 as a nonprofit with a mission “to promote and maintain public safety by providing financial support to the Westborough Police Department,” a recent press release noted.
