‘I choose to receive my medical care at Mass General Brigham’

To the Editor:

Letter to the Editor logoI choose to receive my medical care at Mass General Brigham hospitals in Boston. As of now. I am still able to drive, but I am not sure for how much longer. Recently, I drove into Boston for a doctor’s appointment and it was really challenging, Not only was there considerable traffic, but even the idea of finding a parking space was so taxing that I used the valet service to park my car, Yet, I continue to trust my doctors and am so gratified by the standard of care I receive that I I struggle through the commute to medical appointments, Or, if I can manage it, I try to get a family member to take me in but that is not always possible.

The planned Mass General Brigham Ambulatory Care site in Westborough will relieve that stress for me. Not having to drive into the city while still getting the outstanding quality of care I am accustomed to at MGB facilities will be wonderful. For 25 years I have been going out of my way to get this level of care and the range of services offered at MGB. I know I am not alone in saying that this new MGB site in Westborough will be a fabulous addition to the community
