Westborough Lions Club seeks participants for Peace Poster contest

The Westborough Lions Peace Poster contest is accepting entries until October 15th. This year’s theme is “We are All Connected.”

WESTBOROUGH – The Westborough Lions Club is hosting and recruiting participants for its annual Peace Poster contest this fall.

The Peace Poster contest is designed for students between the ages of 11 and 13 to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through their art and creativity. This year’s poster theme isWe are All Connected.”  

Each poster will be judged on three criteria: Artistic Merit, Originality, and Expression of the Theme. There are four levels of competition: Local, District, State, and International. 

Westborough Lions Club logoThe deadline to enter the Westborough Contest is Friday, Oct. 15. The winner will be selected by Saturday, Nov. 6 and will receive a monetary award. 

All entries will be displayed near the Children’s Room at the Westborough Public Library during the week of November 1. More information on the contest and details on how to register can be found on the Peace Poster page on the Lions website at westboroughlionsclub.org.
