Marie P. Cherry, 37, of Marlborough

1853

Marie P. CherryMarlborough – Marie P. (Daigle) Cherry, 37, died Monday October 4, 2021 after a short illness.  She was born in Natick, the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Messom) Daigle and lived in Marlborough most of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Alexia Rivera and her son, Jameson Cherry, both of Marlborough. They were the light of her life and she cherished them greatly. She had a twin sister, Helen Cook and her baby brother Matthew Daigle, both of Marlborough. She doted on her brother since the day he was born and she was always protective of him. She was recently engaged to her fiancée Michael Rheaume of Centerville and was happily looking forward to marrying her best friend.  Her Aunt Kathleen Messom of Marlborough, was a second mother to her and was always a source of constant support. Her goddaughter and niece Cynthia Pascarelli and niece Ava Pascarelli, both of Marlborough, were loved by her greatly. She was part of a large family and lucky to have had many aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved very much.

Marie had a huge personality and when she walked into a room all eyes and attention were on her. Her smile was beautiful and her laugh infectious. She made friends everywhere she went and could make conversation with just about anyone. She had a big heart and was always a caretaker to anyone who needed help.

Family was so important to her and her biggest blessing were her two children who were the center of her world. She happily bragged about them and had so much pride in their accomplishments and who they are becoming.

She was so young and had so much time left to live. She will be missed by many but we were fortunate to have had her in our lives and memories of her will keep her spirit alive.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home (www.shortandrowefuneralhome.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough.
