Newbury, N.H. – Merrily F. Murphy, of Newbury, NH and formerly of Westborough, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Granite VNA Hospice Home in Concord, NH, surrounded by her family.
Born in Portland, ME, she was a daughter of the late Doug and Marion Holmes.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Murphy was employed as a registered nurse for the Westboro State Hospital.
She enjoyed her dogs and trips to the casino.
Merrily is survived by her brother and his wife Allen and Michelle Holmes, her son and his wife Steven and Deb Murphy, her daughter and her husband, Erin Murphy and Keith Baldinger, and her granddaughters, Mackenzie and Malorie Baldinger.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, October 27, in the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main Street, Westborough. Burial will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to The National Kidney Foundation.
