North Grafton – Philip J. Churchey, 77, passed away October 13, 2021 following an illness. Philip was born May 7, 1944 in Holden, MA, son of Harry Churchey, Sr. and Edith (Jones) Churchey.
He is survived by his life-long partner Barbara Sease and his children, Kevin Churchey, Kimberly Churchey and her partner James Lenkfuro, Michelle Hogan and her husband Michael, Richard Sease and his partner Patricia Prince and Kristie Churchey. He leaves three grandchildren, Nicholas Ayres, Jennifer Landry and Kristian Churchey and also four Great-Grandchildren. He leaves two brothers, Donald Churchey and his wife Ramona, Walter Churchey and his wife Joyce. He was predeceased by Harry Churchey, Jr. He leaves several nephews and nieces.
Philip was a member of Teamsters Local 170 and was a truck driver for Yellow Freight System for more than 30 years. In his spare time he tried his luck at the casino and liked camping and the outdoors with his family.
All are welcome to join his family in a celebration of life Thursday October 21st from 4pm to 6pm at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. Burial will be private.
