Anthony J. ValchuisMarlborough – Anthony “Tony” J. Valchuis, 80, died at his home on Thursday, October 21, 2021.

Tony was born in Cambridge, MA the son of the late Anthony and Edith (Corrazini) Valchuis. He graduated from Marlborough High School, Class of ’60.

Tony served in the Massachusetts National Guard.

He owned and operated Jo Len Village Inc., in Marlborough and proudly served on the Berlin Police Department for many years.

He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed boating, fishing and reading.

Tony is survived by his wife of 56 years, Victoria Jean (Benjamin) Valchuis of Berlin; 2 grandchildren Colton Valchuis of FL, Ashley Valchuis of Worcester; a great grandson Jayce Peters of Douglas; a sister, Grace Warren of Marlborough; his daughter-in-law, Shelly Valchuis of Berlin, and son-in-law Wayne Jarvis of FL; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his 2 sons: Dean and Michael Valchuis both in 2019.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 26, at 11:30 a.m. in the Bigelow Chapel, Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge, MA
