SHREWSBURY – The Shrewsbury Police Department were still searching for a man as of 9:43a.m. Thursday after police responded to a breaking and entering call on Whitehall Circle at 12:55 p.m. on Oct. 25.
Officers said in a Facebook post on Thursday that the man forced his way into the home through a rear door. He then fled, though, when he saw a person in the home who had called the police.
Shrewsbury and Westborough police officers searched the area with help from the Massachusetts State Police and K-9 units. But they didn’t find the man.
Police described this suspect as a heavier set, dark skinned man in his 20s or 30s wearing a dark-colored heavy coat or parka.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Sgt. Mike Cappucci at 508-841-8424.
“The Shrewsbury Police Department would like to remind everyone to always keep your doors and windows locked,” the department wrote.
If anyone sees suspicious activity, call the department at 507-845-1212 or 911.
