Shrewsbury – Charlotte A. (Burrone) Scearbo, 85, of Charlotte A. ScearboShrewsbury, formerly of Belmont, passed away quietly at home on Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph P. Scearbo, and her parents, Joseph C. and Rose L. (Barbato) Burrone.

Charlotte was the devoted and loving mother to her five children: Deborah Scearbo and husband Patrick Everett, of Winthrop, Joseph Scearbo and wife Michele, of Lebanon, NH, James Scearbo and wife Nancy, of Arlington, Gail Plocharczyk, of Leominster, and Daniel Scearbo and wife Gail, of Shrewsbury; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters: June Blasius, of Orange, Diane McCormick, of Florida, and Dorothy Boyle and husband Terrance, of Belmont; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Born in Cambridge, raised and educated in Belmont, Charlotte was a graduate of Belmont High School. She was employed throughout her career in various office positions and office management, including bookkeeping and billing – bookkeeping was her expertise.

Charlotte’s fierce dedication to her family and friends was her sterling quality and contribution. She was extremely social and sparkled at family events. Logic and intellectually agile generated great professional success in her career as a bookkeeper, but was also a major factor in her MahJong and card games, which she loved playing. Charlotte’s winnings always lead the losses. She loved travelling, movies, music, but most of all, her family.

She will be missed but deeply remembered and remain cherished as ever.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Charlotte’s family between 10 and 11 AM on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 at the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury, with a prayer service at 11. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Masks will be required at the funeral home and cemetery.
