WESTBOROUGH – The Westborough Public Library’s Marketing and Social Media Coordinator Sarah Cunningham has received Westborough’s October Employee Excellence Award.
“Her friendly smile and easy way with patrons is a hallmark of her work style, and she’s a supportive and helpful team player for her coworkers,” the town said in a press release.
Cunningham has stepped in to help cover positions when an employee was on leave. She has taken on additional tasks beyond her regular duties and has kept the library’s website up to date, that press release noted.
Cunningham has injected her “creative” and “fun sense of humor” into the library’s sandwich signboards, one of which went viral on Reddit.
