MARLBOROUGH – A Marlborough resident recently snapped a photo of Cooper, a four-legged fisherman, on the Fort Meadow Reservoir.
From her kayak, she saw the Boston terrier wading along the water’s edge; eye fixated; body poised to pounce.
“Fish were darting around as the dog used his compact, muscular body like a spear,” the resident said. “His owner told me there is one problem – when Cooper catches a fish with his mouth, he seems to feel regret.”
Fort Meadow Reservoir is popular year-round among those who like to fish.
