Bear hunt kicks off in Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY – Be on the lookout for bears in Shrewsbury.

The #ShrewsburyBearHunt is being hosted by the Council on Aging throughout the month of November. 

Ten bear signs are scattered throughout Shrewsbury at the Senior Center, the Maple Avenue fields, Jordan Pond, the Shrewsbury Public Library, the Town Common and Municipal Fields, as well as Lake Street, and Edgemere, Prospect and Dean parks.

Individuals can use QR codes on the signs to track their progress. 

Those who find all 10 signs by Tuesday, Nov. 30 will be entered to win a prize. The prize drawing will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 8.
