WESTBOROUGH – With raffles, silent auction baskets, and jewelry tables lining the building, the Westborough Senior Center’s annual Fall Fair returned from a one-year hiatus with great success, Nov. 6.
Westborough Council on Aging Chairman Linda Birch helped organize the event, which aims to raise money for a variety of programs.
“Every penny that we make today goes right back into the senior center,” Birch said. “This enables us to offer programs to our seniors.
“This is a happy place to be,” she continued. “There’s a lot of camaraderie here and a lot of friendships.”
The event also featured a home-cooked lunch, as well as local vendors and the community-favorite ‘Grandpa’s Attic’ yard sale in the Community Center parking lot.
