Hudson High School HUDSON – The Hudson High School Athletic Hall of Fame’s 2021 class just got bigger.

Sarah (Spencer) Baker has, indeed, been added to the list of planned inductees, according to Hall of Fame Committee Chair Steven Smith.

Baker graduated in 1998 and will be honored for her softball exploits. She earned all-star honors in multiple seasons and was the MidWach league’s leading pitcher in 1997 with a 10-0 record and a 0.49 ERA.

Baker joins a slate of 2021 hall of fame inductees that already includes Larry Heindl, Ralph Davis, Krisha (Zagura) Risley, Kristalena Lamore, Nicholas DiBlasi, Ryan Bowen, the 2010 Softball team, the 2011 Baseball team, Phil Ricciuti, Michael Correa and Luis Macedo.

“They may have been an athlete at the school. They may not have even attended the high school. But, somehow, they made an indelible mark in a positive way on the Hudson High School athletic program,” Smith said of the inductees in comments to the Community Advocate earlier this year.

The hall of fame luncheon and induction ceremonies will take place on Friday, Nov. 26 in Riverview at the Hudson Portuguese Club.

Tickets are available for $35 from Denise Carter at Hudson High School. Her phone number is (978) 567-6250 ext. 13174. Checks should be made payable to the Hudson High Athletic Booster Club. The ticket deadline is Friday, Nov. 12.
