SHREWSBURY – Shrewsbury’s Yuletide Market and Light the Common events will return next month.
The events, which are free and hosted by the Shrewsbury Town Center Association, will be held at the Shrewsbury Town Common and behind Chiampa Funeral Home.
The festivities will kick off at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, with the third annual Light the Common.
The Yuletide Market, which is inspired by European Christmas markets, will feature holiday treats, gifts, crafts, music and entertainment. It will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.
Visitors will also be able to get food from food trucks as well as mulled wine. The Greater Good Imperial Brewing Company will host a beer garden.
The Shrewsbury Fire Department will serve their Fire House Chili, while Boy Scout Troop 114 will host a hot chocolate fundraiser.
Individuals will be able to park at either Shrewsbury’s Town Hall, the Senior Center, or the former Beal school. Shuttles will run between Town Hall and the Town Common.
