Hudson/Truro – Nancy Kelley Boire, 77, of Hudson and Truro passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Paul R. Boire who died in September 2019. At the time of his death, the couple had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Nancy was born and raised in Truro and graduated from Provincetown High School Class of 1961. She attended Salem State University and began a teaching career at Veteran’s Memorial Elementary School in Provincetown where she taught third grade.
After moving to Paul’s hometown of Hudson, Nancy continued teaching at Hudson High School. She later became the manager of the Hudson Municipal Credit Union. In addition, Nancy and Paul ran their own business, Affordable Tax Preparation for almost 30 years. Nancy’s greatest joy was being with Paul, especially at their house in Truro. Truro was Nancy’s favorite place on Earth and where she was the happiest.
She is survived by her sister, Lucille K. Roza of South Dennis, sisters-in-law, Ann Kelley of Truro and Jini Funk of West Harwich, nieces, Peggy Dahill and Sheila Kelley of Eastham and Ann Kelley and her husband, Pat, of Indiana. Also surviving are her great-nephews, T.K. Dahill of Eastham and Michael Kelley of Paxton. She was predeceased by her brother, Jack Kelley of Truro.
A graveside service will be held at Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Donations in her memory can be made to Hospice Services of Massachusetts, 10 Riverside Drive, Lakeville, MA. 02347.
