MARLBOROUGH – Police recovered shell casings and a round after reports of gunshots near downtown Marlborough on Nov. 12.
No injuries were reported.
Police first responded to a report of two gunshots at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 12, according to Sgt. Zachary Attaway. The shots were reported near Cotting Avenue, which splits off Main Street across from Union Common to then intersect with Granger Boulevard.
“It is believed that a suspect fired the weapon from a motor vehicle and immediately fled the scene,” Attaway wrote in a message to the Community Advocate.
