REGION – SALMON Health and Retirement will donate a homemade pie to a local food bank in the name of each individual who tours one of SALMON’s independent living, assisted living or memory care communities through Nov. 21.
“The support and connection we have to our surrounding community is important – any opportunity we have to give back is one we want to take,” said Director of Sales Jonathan Terlaje in a press release.
“The holiday season is a busy time at SALMON,” added CEO Matt Salmon. “Families use the holidays to spend quality time with their older loved ones, socializing, and bonding together. As you consider a tour of one of our campuses, think about how you’ll not only bring joy to our Residents, but how your contribution will benefit a local family in need.”
The SALMON Worcester campus will donate Gerardo’s Bakery pies to the Worcester County Food Bank on Nov. 22. On Nov. 23, the Sharon campus will donate Wards Berry Farm pies to Ilse Marks Food Pantry, the Natick campus will donate pies from Ever So Humble Pie Company to the Hope Food Pantry, and Medway, Northborough and Westborough campuses will donate their homemade pies to the Medway, Northborough, and Westborough town food pantries respectively.
