WESTBOROUGH – A Framingham man allegedly crashed his car into a police cruiser while under the influence, Nov. 20, severely damaging both the cruiser and the vehicle he was driving, police said.

Alexander Ramos-Felipe of Framingham was arrested and charged with operating under the influence, unlicensed operation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding, according to police. He was also charged with a marked lanes violation.

Police said in a press release, Nov. 20, that officers were conducting a traffic stop on Route 9 around 2 a.m. when one of the officers “observed a dark colored Honda sedan quickly approaching with no signs of slowing down.”

Police said that sedan then collided with an unoccupied cruiser.

Officers escorted occupants to safety and assisted Ramos-Felipe.

Ramos-Felipe was scheduled to be arraigned in Westborough District Court as of Nov. 20.
