NORTHBOROUGH – Northborough turned out, Nov. 25, for its annual Turkey Trot road race.

The event raised money for Northborough Recreation, specifically helping support summer camps and other programming opportunities for families in need.

This year’s event marked a return to tradition after the race ran virtually last fall due to COVID-19.

Individual participants were able to choose between a 5K course and a 3K option. Both courses wound through residential streets around the Zeh School on Howard Street in town.

Northborough’s Turkey Trot was one of several that took place both on Thanksgiving Day as well as on the days preceding it.

Westborough ran its own Turkey Trot on Nov. 20.

Shrewsbury and Southborough then held Turkey Trots on Thanksgiving.
