NORTHBOROUGH – Juniper Hill Golf Course recently raised $2,341 in cash, checks and supermarket gift cards to be donated to a variety of local charities.

That was in addition to nearly 225 turkeys that the Golf Course also collected.

This was all thanks to Juniper Hill’s Turkey Day fundraiser held late last month.

Golfers and staff pulled together to support that effort.

Those cash, check and gift card donations went to the Worcester County Food Bank, Veterans, Inc. and the Northborough Food Pantry to feed families in need in Central Massachusetts.

Veterans Inc. then distributed over 400 boxes of turkeys, dinner fixings and pies to families of Massachusetts veterans.

“Juniper Hill’s turkeys were a large part of that,” the Golf Course said in a statement.

“The staff of Juniper Hill Golf Course would like to whole-heartedly thank all of you who participated in our Turkey Day Event,” that statement added.

Juniper Hill Golf Course is located at 202 Brigham St. in Northborough. Learn more at juniperhillgc.com.
