HUDSON – Young innovators and entrepreneurs are invited to pitch their ideas for businesses or homemade products at a “Young Entrepreneurs Market and Shark Tank Jr. Day” at the Hudson Public Library on Dec. 29.

The event is part of a collaboration by the Assabet Valley Innovation Alliance and both the
Berlin and Hudson Public Libraries.

The program is open to entrepreneurs ages eight to 18. It will introduce participants to strategy, advertising, promotion, target audiences and soft business and presentation skills.

Participants must attend a workshop before the event. The first such workshop took place on Nov. 13 at the Berlin Public Library. The second is scheduled for Dec. 18 at the Hudson Public Library.

The “Market Day” will be held on Dec. 29 at the Hudson Public Library. There, business people will review their market offerings and talk with student exhibitors.

Later that day, individuals will review the entries of seventh through high school seniors and give feedback.
