Laura T. DesperNorthborough – Laura T Desper, age 73, formerly of Hudson, and of Acton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at Coleman House while surrounded in the supportive love of her family.

Laura was born and raised in Lynn, Mass, a daughter to the late Eric and Barbara (Seaver) Taylor, Sr. She was the second of 5 siblings, and spent much time with her sisters and brother, celebrating birthday dinners and many holidays together.

As her family grew, first with the birth of her daughters, Lorna & Cheryl, Sabrina joined the crew and then Cindy completed her family of girls! She loved her girls , though her greatest joy was with her grandchildren. She always said there was no greater love and she did what Nana’s do- she loved and spoiled them with all her heart. Laura was blessed to find love with her children’s fathers, but in 1986 found Dr. Clyde Richard Desper. Dick and Laura enjoyed 32 years of marriage together until Dick’s own passing in December of 2020.

Laura had a variety of jobs, starting with helping her family business at National Lease All running a jewelry business, and eventually finding her true passion, Real Estate. Laura enjoyed 30 years of helping families. She worked hard and one year sold over 100 condos, dubbing her the “condo queen”. She was a single agent, later forming a team with her husband Dick. In 2014, Her daughter Lorna joined her team and they became the Laura & Lorna Team. She loved her career and was well loved and respected by her colleagues and clients.

Laura is survived by her four children, Lorna Helms(Jamie), Cheryl Cook, Sabrina Frean (Paul) and Cindy Bahceli; her five step -children, Betty Goh(Eric), John Desper(Leann), Beatrice Desper(Issam), Rick Desper, and Scott Desper; her grandchildren, Laura Lee (Mark), Marissa, Jennifer, Zachary, Isabella, Yasmine and William and one great-grandson, Jackson, all whom she loved dearly. Laura is also survived by her siblings Erica Edwards (David), Barbara Houle (Tom) and Eric Taylor (Joan) as well as by numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Her beloved sister Cynthia Siborg preceded Laura in death.
