Westborough – Helen T. (Brady) Barry, 85, of Westborough formerly from Hudson, MA passed away peacefully, on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Beaumont Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough, MA, after a period of declining health. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 62 years, Ralph J. Barry, who predeceased her on October 27, 2018.

Helen was born in Boston, MA on January 17, 1936, one of 11 children of the late Thomas F. and Helena F. (Bates) Brady. She was raised in Boston, where she graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School for Girls.  Shortly after graduating she married the love of her life, Ralph Barry, on May 26, 1956 and after residing in Watertown, they eventually settled in Hudson, MA in 1963. Helen moved to Whitney Suites Assisted Living in Westborough,  MA in 2019.

Helen was a devoted homemaker and an active member of the Hudson community. She was a devout catholic and very active member of Saint Michael Parish, where she volunteered and taught CCD classes. Helen also served on the board of directors for the girls club and volunteered at the Hudson Food Pantry. She had many hobbies including playing cards, sewing, & knitting. She loved poetry, dancing & listening to music. Helen was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Helen is survived by her three children, Ralph J. Barry, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Hardeville, SC, Kathleen A. Roemer and her husband Fred of Littleton, MA and Stephen M. Barry and his wife Carol of Hudson; 2 siblings, Margaret Welby and William Brady; 5 grandchildren, Amie Levasseur & her husband Jean, Leslie Boudreau & her husband Ryan, Lauren McHugh & her husband Dan, Kevin Roemer & his fiance Kayla and Matthew Barry & his wife Stephanie and 5 great-grandchildren, Aiden & Avery Levasseur, Ella Barry, Dylan Boudreau & Adeline Barry as well as many nieces, nephews and family members. She was also predeceased by 8 siblings, Thomas Brady, Francis Brady, Mary Pawlowski, George Brady, John Brady, Joseph Brady, James Brady, and Edward Brady.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 1-4 pm on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St. Hudson, Ma. A Mass of Christian Burial will  be celebrated at 9am on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery for Committal Services.
