MARLBOROUGH – St. Mary’s Credit Union recently announced the appointment of Erick Pereira to the role of Junior Commercial Lending Officer.
A Marlborough resident, Pereira will “cultivate new relationships to generate business loans while also servicing existing commercial relationships” according to a St. Mary’s press release.
“As a credit union dedicated to providing the highest level of service and responsiveness to our members, Erick brings more than 10 years of banking and financial experience to help our members make the best decision when it comes to their loan options,” said Sarah Day, SVP, Commercial Lending, St. Mary’s Credit Union. “His experience and skills will serve our members well, from the first phone call to the last payment.”
Pereira comes to St. Mary’s Credit Union from Berkshire Bank, where he served as Assistant Vice President, Senior Branch Officer, and oversaw two branch locations.
He also served as Assistant Branch Manager at Commerce Bank, a Division of Berkshire Bank, at locations in Boston, Shrewsbury and Worcester.
Pereira previously held the role of Financial Service Representative.

Pereira earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Framingham State University and serves as a board member for the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce.
