Westborough – Dennis C. Payne, 83, of Westborough, MA a beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He will always be remembered as a caring and giving person, to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Born in Hudson, MA, he was the son of Clyde and Edith (Green) Payne. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force where he became an aircraft mechanic. After he returned home from the service, he became a Special Duty Police Officer for the Town of Westborough and a longtime truck driver for Pacific Intermountain Express Co. (P.I.E).
In addition to Barbara (Holmes) Payne, his wife of 56 years, he is survived by his three children, his son John Payne, and his wife Michelle (Russell) Payne of Washington State, His two daughters, Lisa (Payne) Bourgeois and her husband Keith of Dracut, MA, his youngest daughter Annette (Payne) Massey, and her husband Brian Massey of Whitinsville, MA and eight grandchildren, Merrillee, Laurellee, Nicholas, Jessica, Payne, Reed, Natalie, Stephanie and four great grandchildren.
Calling hours and burial services will be private.
