SHREWSBURY – Santa Claus is coming to Lake Quinsigamond.

The Lake Quinsigamond Santa Run, which is hosted by the Lake Quinsigamond Watershed Association, will run once again on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. His trip usually lasts about an hour.

Santa will take off at the Corazzini Boat Ramp and head south. The Kenneth F. Burns Memorial Bridge is a great place to watch, the association noted.

There will be official viewing spots from the launch, Regatta Point, Lake Park beach and the Marine Corp. League.

The Watershed Association will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots at those official locations.

The event may be rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 18 if there is inclement weather. In that case, any toys to be donated for Toys for Tots needs to be dropped off at the Marine Corps League or Shrewsbury Police or Fire Departments by Friday, Dec. 17.
