AMSA plans performance of ‘The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe’MARLBOROUGH – The Advanced Math and Science Academy Drama Society will be performing the “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” on Friday, Dec. 10 and on Saturday, Dec. 11.

The Dec. 10 performance starts at 7 p.m. There will be shows at both 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 11. All shows will take place at First Church in Marlborough at 37 High St.  

Dramatized by Joseph Robinette, the story is of four children who stumble through a wardrobe and find themselves transported to the magical realm of Narnia. In it they find they must help the great lion Aslan defeat the White Witch and restore summer and hope to the realm. They must overcome their differences if they hope to defeat the White Witch in the epic battle. 

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased at the door for all shows at the handicapped accessible entrance at First Church or at this link: https://store.amsacs.org/collections/event/products/drama-tickets.

Masks must be worn by everyone in attendance regardless of vaccination status.

“The group is very excited to be able to perform for a live audience once again,” a press release announcing these performances noted.
