HUDSON/MARLBOROUGH – The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest hosted its annual Festival of Trees and Holiday Craft Fair on Dec. 4 at the Argeo R. Cellucci Jr. Clubhouse in Hudson.

This popular seasonal event benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest, with clubhouses located in Hudson, Marlborough and Framingham.

Individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits donated decorated trees, wreaths and kissing balls. Festivalgoers could purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win their favorite as a prize.

Holiday shoppers browsed among about 20 vendors while viewing nearly 40 trees, a dozen wreaths and a few kissing balls. Fundraising continued with a bake sale.

While 2020’s pandemic restrictions canceled many events, the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest managed to hold its festival last year at its Marlborough clubhouse. That event was originally planned as a “drive through” in the parking lot, but windy conditions prompted a move inside the clubhouse with safety measures.
