Sturbridge – Phyllis J. Fisher, 91, of Sturbridge, formerly of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Fred A. Fisher.
Born in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Bryant) Bornt. She was raised and educated in Amsterdam and was a graduate of Amsterdam High School.
Phyllis was employed as a bookkeeper for Goodall and Son Tractor Co. prior to her retirement. She enjoyed, doing puzzles and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three children, Sandra J. Mangaudis and her husband, Brian, of W. Yarmouth, Robert A. Fisher of Sturbridge and Jack W. Fisher and his wife, Paula, of W. Brookfield; four grandchildren, Jessica Fisher and her partner, Nam , Jenna Desrosiers and her husband, John, Melissa Couture and her husband, Steve, Taylor Fisher and his partner, Emily and nine great-grandchildren, Johnny, Matthew, Alexa, Jayden, Hendrix, Boston, Britany, Isla and Owen. She also leaves her niece Darlene Bornt of Kenner, LA.
A private graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Westborough. There are no calling hours.
