MARLBOROUGH – Marlborough’s Greater Grace Christian Fellowship is seeking donations to support the Children of Grace orphanage in Uganda.

It is organizing the event with FUNDrive, which is a program operated by the Savers thrift store change.

This effort aims to collect men’s, women’s and children’s clothes as well as household textiles and small household goods.

FUNDrive will then buy the donated goods, providing funds to go toward the orphanage.

Clothing donations can include coats, shoes, scarves, handbags, accessories, ties, belts and backpacks. Household textiles can include bedding, blankets, towels, linen, pillows or curtains.

As for household items, the fellowship is seeking donations of mostly kitchen items, toys, games and small electronics.

The fellowship requests that donors use bags for clothes and textiles and boxes for small household goods.

Community members can drop off donations on Saturday, Feb. 5 at Greater Grace Church from 12 to 4 p.m.  The church is located at 187 Pleasant St. in Marlborough.
