MARLBOROUGH – Emergency personnel were responding to an overturned truck on I-495 in Marlborough as of around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

The driver, a 23 year-old Hudson male, had no apparent injury, according to the Massachusetts State Police.

Hudson Fire Chief Bryan Johannes subsequently told the Community Advocate that the 2002 Ford Econoline was filled with granite countertops when it crashed near the I-290 exit ramp.

A UPS driver initially assisted Hudson Fire in helping the occupant of the vehicle, according to Johannes.

The occupant signed a patient release and declined treatment at the scene, Johannes said.

Johannes said that the Hudson Fire Department responded to this crash but was later relieved by Marlborough crews.

MassDOT has warned drivers to expect “heavy delays.”
