NORTHBOROUGH – The Northborough Free Library will be closed today due to a lack of heat.

“The temperatures inside the library are below 60 degrees at the moment,” Library Director Jenn Bruneau told the Community Advocate around 11:50 a.m.

She said the the library’s service provider would be sending a technician to investigate the issue.

Town staff announced earlier in the day that Town Hall would be closed today due to heating issues.

The Town Hall had officially reopened for business as of 12 pm though after the issue was fixed, according to Town Administrator John Coderre.
