Arthur A. BrazeauDixmont, Maine/St. Petersburg, Fla. – Arthur Brazeau (A.K.A Woodchuck) was born April 27, 1947, in Bridgeport, CT and passed away on January 22, 2022 in Florida. Predeceased by his mother and father Catherine and Walter, and brother Denis.

He leaves behind his wife Carol Petersen-Brazeau, five children: Mark and wife Kim, Arthur Jr, Karen, Cheryl, Brian and wife Sally, and 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Survived by his brother Eugene, Stephen and wife Nancy of MA, Dottie and husband Mike Badger of CA. He also leaves behind an extended family, Cliff Petersen and Colleen, Joann and Bernie Godin; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and many more friends and family that he leaves behind.

Arthur grew up in Hudson, MA and graduated from Hudson High. He served 12 years in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteran as a tunnel rat.  Half of his time in the military was spent in Germany. After his time in the Amy, he worked for the City of Lawrence Massachusetts, and drove a truck for many years.

He had a busy retired life and traveled between Maine and Florida.

He is a member of the Maine Troop Greeter’s, and his beaded flags are on display at the Bangor airport, Cole Museum, Pepperell VFW in MA, and other locations. He belonged to VFW, PAV, DAV, American Legion, ELKS and Bobs Vet Group. He loved to dance, party, shopping, gardening and making beaded flags. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. He loves Pow-Wows and was a Native guest drummer with Eddie Coffey Group.

Memorial services will be held in the Spring at a place and time to be announced.
