Harrison GrahovecHudson – Harrison “Harry” Grahovec, 34, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, MA. Born in Worcester and raised in Hudson, MA, he was the beloved son of Susan Gillis Grahovec of Hudson, formerly of Somerville, and the late Ronald Grahovec of Chicago, Il.

Harry was born on March 23, 1987. He was a beloved son, brother, father and friend to many. Harry was loyal to both his family and his friends, had a fantastic sense of humor, and was truly one of a kind. He had a sweet, caring, kind heart which made him loved by all who knew him.

Harry loved sports, having played hockey in his youth, and was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics and the New England Patriots. He was a talented artist and history buff who also found joy in exploring the outdoors and enjoying nature, as well as passing on his love of basketball and skateboarding to his daughter. As a devoted music lover, music was an important facet of Harry’s life. He loved creating music and attending live concerts with his many friends. Music has always been the glue that holds them together and he had a special way of making people feel loved.

Besides his mother, he will be lovingly remembered by his beautiful and fiercely talented daughter Audrey Grahovec of Hudson, MA, his sister Sydney Grahovec and future brother-in-law Peter Mahoney of North Adams, MA, his most cherished lifelong friends, Brittany Toohey of Hudson, MA, mother of Audrey, and Joshua Johnson of Eastham, MA, and his beloved chosen family of deeply bonded friends. He will also be dearly missed by his aunts, Nancy Chase of Wyndam, NH, Kathy Hurley of Reading, MA, Dorothy Gillis of North Reading, MA, Joanne “Cookie” Purnell of Reading, MA, as well as numerous cousins.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, February 26, from 2 – 4 pm at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson MA. A Celebration of Harry’s Life will follow with location and time to be announced ASAP.

As this loss was unexpected and sudden, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations to help cover medical bills and funeral services will be greatly appreciated. Details on Harry’s Memorial GoFundMe will be announced shortly.
