REGION – UniBank, Central Massachusetts’ largest mutual community bank, has once again been voted “Best Bank for Business” by Worcester Business Journal readers for 2022.
This is the 9th time the bank has earned the coveted title.
“UniBank customers tell us that it is our personalized approach to business, commercial and personal banking and our commitment to the community that keeps them excited about their relationship with our bank,” UniBank CEO Michael Welch said in a press release. “We remain focused on our mission to make the community a better place.”
In 2021, UniBank announced the establishment of the UniBank Charitable Foundation, which the bank seeded with $2 million. The Foundation, according to Welch, will help ensure that the bank’s legacy of giving will continue for generations to come.
