Marlborough – Elizabeth A. (Spilva) Stukonis, 84 of Marlborough, died on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waltham, MA, the daughter of the late Wilmot and Ruth (Orpin) Spilva. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Joseph A. Stukonis in 2011.

She attended local schools in Waltam MA. She had a great love for dancing, where she started at the age of 2 and danced for over 20 years, co-owning B & B’s Dance Studio in Waltham. She worked several years for the school system in Marlborough as a Lunch Server and then worked at Walmart until retiring. Elizabeth spent several years working with the Booster Club for Assabet Valley High School, being elected to the Assabet Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.

She never missed any of her kids’ sports games. She was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan and never missed a game on TV.

Her greatest love was all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, where she could never get enough of them.

Elizabeth is survived by her 6 children, Mark Stukonis and James “Jimmy” Stukonis both of Marlborough, Dawn Goulet of Hubbardston, Ann Goulet and her husband Craig of Hudson, Deborah Stukonis of Boston, Kenneth Stukonis and his wife Denise of Hudson; 8 grandchildren, Joseph, Haylee, Alisha, Heather, Nicole, Michael, Nicholas and Julia; 5 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Michael, Joshua, Alaska and Rylee; a brother, Wilmot Spilva Jr. and his wife Ellen of Shrewsbury and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Dollie.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl Stukonis in 1989; a sister Jane Eldredge in 2019, her grandson, Craig Goulet Jr. in 2009 and a son-in-law, Glenn Goulet last August.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 11 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough.
