Marlborough – Germaine E. (Marsan) Duclos, 75, the daughter of George and Gertrude Marsan (Dejardins), passed away peacefully on 2/22/2022 after a brief illness. She lived her entire life in Marlborough.
Germaine is survived by her loving husband, Robert Duclos, her 3 children Nicole Bazinet, Alain Duclos and Laura Danner and her 4 grandchildren: Eli Danner, Willow Danner, Riley Bazinet and Keira Bazinet. She is also survived by her siblings Phyllis Graham and Robert Marsan. In addition, she leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
All that knew Germaine knew of the compassion, grace, and thoughtfulness she exuded every day. She put others before herself with a fierce unselfishness and she brought sunshine to those lives she touched. Germaine was the keeper of the family history and is still watching over them with love.
Visiting hours for Germaine will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 12:00-1:00 PM at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home following visiting hours at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that donations be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which she supported for many years.
