Rimkus: Search ongoing for creators of old board game, town marks major retirementsHUDSON – A “Hudson Trivia” board game was compiled, possibly thirty years ago, by teachers and students at a local school. Now, a search is on to learn its origin.

Two copies of the game are stored at the Hudson Historical Society Museum on Broad Street, but there is no information about its authorship.

Former Main Street businesses listed include Richard’s Limited at 29 Main St.., New England Camera at 34 Main St. and Chaisson’s Music Center at 129 Main St.

Current businesses on the Monopoly-style board include local main-stays Curley Plumbing, Tuck’s Truck Sales and Silva’s Bakery.

The game also includes images of The Wilkinsonville Bridge, built in 1881; the Witt House, built in 1797; the Goodale House built 1702 and the Joel Wilkins house, circa 1745.

Maybe some of the teachers or students who were involved in its construction can date the Hudson Trivia board game. Please reply to [email protected]
