SHREWSBURY – A fire damaged three cars and the side of a garage in Shrewsbury on Friday, prompting a response from Shrewsbury firefighters.
Firefighters arrived in the early morning hours to find a burning car parked in between two other vehicles. The car was also close to a garage.
The Shrewsbury Fire Department said in a Facebook post that crews quickly extinguished the flames.
There were no injuries reported.
The main car on fire sustained heavy damage, though. Fire and heat further damaged both of the two other cars parked on the scene. The blaze also melted siding off part of the garage exterior.
