Connie was born in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Sargent Delmore and Marion Constance Hartley Heath. She lived in Shrewsbury for many years. Connie was a graduate of The Northfield School for Girls, Brown University and Worcester State College. She was an avid quilter, knitter and reader. She was a faithful member of The First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury and its music ministries, a founding member of The Schoolhouse Quilters, as well as other organizations.

But most importantly, she was a devoted grandparent. Connie continued these traditions after Guy’s death right up to her end of her life. She will be remembered for her strong and independent spirit, her creativity and generosity, and her deep love of family and friends.
