Connie was born in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Sargent Delmore and Marion Constance Hartley Heath. She lived in Shrewsbury for many years. Connie was a graduate of The Northfield School for Girls, Brown University and Worcester State College. She was an avid quilter, knitter and reader. She was a faithful member of The First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury and its music ministries, a founding member of The Schoolhouse Quilters, as well as other organizations.

But most importantly, she was a devoted grandparent. Connie and Guy both cherished the company of their grandchildren, seeing them weekly as they grew up, summering on Scraggy Neck, taking them on fun and educational vacations, and hosting many sunny hours sitting around the pool on Gifford Drive. Connie continued these traditions after Guy’s death right up to her end of her life. She will be remembered for her strong and independent spirit, her creativity and generosity, and her deep love of family and friends.

A celebration of Connie’s life and love will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at The First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury with a reception to follow in Gifford Hall. Connie’s service will be livestreamed, please use the following link, www.fccsm.org/sermons-2/.
