SOUTHBOROUGH – A car struck a utility pole before coming to a rest upside down on Parmenter Road in Southborough on Friday afternoon.
The lone occupant of the car did not require medical treatment, according to the Southborough Fire Department.
The crash snapped the utility pole, though, and had prompted the closure of a portion of Parmenter Road as of 2:15 p.m.
That closure is expected to last for “several hours.”
