Boys & Girls Clubs plan Hall of Fame breakfastMARLBOROUGH – The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest will honor five new hall of fame inductees on Thursday, May 19. Part of a planned Hall of Fame breakfast event, these inductions will mark a return to in-person events for the Boys & Girls Clubs after two years of COVID-19 disruptions.

“We are forever grateful to these individuals and this event is the opportunity to honor their legacies, while celebrating the contributions of other local heroes,” organizers noted in an informational sheet distributed ahead of this event.

The Hall of Fame event was first hosted in 2014 to honor individuals who have been committed to the Clubs.

This year’s inductees now include Rosemary Corley, Joshua Major-Paschal, Paul Mina, Marylou Vanzini and Bill Miller. Patty Miele is winning the Clubs’ Ron Young Memorial Award, recognizing an individual who has carried on the legacy of Young, who spent his entire career working in the Boys & Girls Club system, including time as the President/CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest.

The Hall of Fame breakfast, including these recognitions, is scheduled for May 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott on Felton Street in Marlborough.

Tickets are available for $45 through HallofFameMW.givesmart.com.
