SHREWSBURY/WESTBOROUGH – A late season matchup between the Westborough High School and Shrewsbury High School varsity softball teams ended in a Shrewsbury win on Wednesday.
The game was Westborough’s senior day, with the teams playing to a 10-3 final score in Westborough.
Westborough’s win-loss record now sits at 6-10 after another loss to Nashoba on Thursday, following Wednesday’s Shrewsbury game.
Shrewsbury’s win-loss record was 5-11 as of Thursday, with the Pioneers following their win over Westborough with a loss to Wachusett.
Shrewsbury has one game left on its regular season schedule with a matchup against Andover set for Monday.
