WESTBOROUGH – A collaboration between Julio’s Liquors and a Vermont brewery is benefiting the Westborough Community Land Trust (WCLT) while highlighting Westborough’s Jackstraw Brook waterway.

Julio’s first IPA collaboration project, Jackstraw Brook, is brewed by Ten Bends brewery.

Julio’s is donating $2 of every fourpack sold to the Community Land Trust to help preserve areas like Jackstraw Brook.

Jackstraw Brook winds through Westborough around Gilmore Pond and Gilmore Farm Road. Numerous hiking trails snake around it as part of the Upper Jackstraw Brook Reservation.

Gilmore Pond, which serves as the headwaters for the brook, was recently augmented by a new, accessible, all persons trail around its perimeter built with help from WCLT.

“We are excited to bring you this exclusive release and hope you will enjoy it as much as we have,” Julio’s noted in a press release announcing its IPA collaboration.

“Jackstraw Brook is more than just an IPA, it’s also a part of the Westborough community,” that press release continued.

Julio’s emphasized that supplies are limited. Those interested in buying this product can do so at Julio’s location at 140 Turnpike Road in Westborough, or online at: tinyurl.com/28hj9bh8.
