Westborough – Marie “Rose” Donovan, 89, of Westborough, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 with her loving family at her side.
Born in Thompson, CT, she was the daughter of the late Euclide and Jeannette (Laroche) Sarrette. She was raised and educated at a Catholic Academy in Webster.
Rose was the “heart” of her family. A dedicated mother first and foremost. She was naturally gifted with artistic talent and a passion for sewing. As a seamstress, she created beautiful wedding dresses, gowns, and costumes. She loved all living creatures, especially birds. She enjoyed traveling, her last adventure was a trip to London and Paris on her 80th birthday. With a radiant smile and talkative nature, her endearing personality was loved.

Donovan and Kristy; “memere” loved her grandchildren, Danielle DeWolfe, Paul and Candice Donovan, Krystle and Richard Pratt, Julianne and Jacob Uhlman, Rachel, Renee, Eric, and Sarah Donovan, Meghan Donovan, Dante, Jovan, and Talia Camacho, Hollie, Dennis, Brooke, and Lea Donovan, David and Alex Donovan; great-grandchildren, Cole, Haley, Bradley, Tyler, Ryder, and Travis.
She was predeceased by her beautiful daughter-in-law, Donna E. Donovan in 2018; and her husband, Richard P. Donovan in 2007.
Graveside services in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private.
