Stephen RadivonykHudson – Stephen Radivonyk, 90, of Hudson, MA, died on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Life Care Center of Auburn. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Viens) Radivonyk who died in 2009.

Stephen was born in Framingham, MA, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Meluskuti) Radivonyk. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army until being honorably discharged in 1954. He spent many years as a police officer and member of the Hudson Police Dept. until his retirement.

Stephen leaves his two daughters, Priscilla Johnson and husband Richard of North Brookfield, MA, Cheryl Johnson and husband David of Warren, MA; his grandchildren, Tammy Gustafson, Melody Johnson, Richard S. Johnson, David Johnson; his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Samael Gustafson, Garrett K. Johnson, Riley Johnson along with his many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was the brother of the late Joseph Radivonyk, George Radivonyk, Edward Radivonyk, Anna Brunson, Mary Tower, Julia Blanchard and Alice Raspperry.

Stephen was proud of his service in the military and later as a police officer serving the community of Hudson. His favorite hobby was attending yard sales and flea markets, always looking for that rare and unusual item. He enjoyed growing flowers and plants in his greenhouse with his daughters always there to lend a hand. His passion was his family. Spending time with family, especially later with all his grandchildren and great grandchildren was always cherished. He touched so many lives with kindness and compassion, guidance and advice and will forever be remembered by those who loved and knew him.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a service and celebration of Stephen’s life at 12:00 PM in the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson, MA.
